✨ Special Invitation: Plein Air Easton 2026 ✨
Why Not Turn It into an AOY Fundraiser?
A Gathering of Artists • July 10–14, 2026 • Easton, Maryland

Dear Artist,

Have you ever wanted to slip away for a few days—just to paint, breathe, and watch the boats drift by? This is your chance.

You are warmly invited to create your own personal retreat during Plein Air Easton 2026: sightsee, paint, or simply slow down. For one unforgettable week, artistry, heritage, and community come together in one of the most inspiring landscapes on the Eastern Shore.

This year, we are opening a beautifully preserved family property near Easton, generously donated for the week as a peaceful home base for our AOY artist family. With 9 guest rooms, it’s an intimate and welcoming setting to share with fellow artists.

Think:
old shade trees, open fields, thoughtful landscaping, a pond, in-ground pool, gazebo, and a flagstone patio where you can watch the sunrise on the banks of Broad Creek. It’s classic Coastal Charm with room to breathe, dream, and create.

What This Invitation Offers

  • A welcoming home base during the Plein Air Easton festival

  • Inspiring spaces to paint—indoors and out

  • Time to rest, reflect, and recharge between events

  • A heritage-rich environment that honors tradition, land, and creativity

  • Community with fellow artists who value depth, beauty, and meaningful connection

This is not a structured workshop or instructional retreat. There is no set curriculum, no schedule you have to follow. It is simply:

A gathering of kindred spirits — a place to root yourself during the festival
and create from a sense of calm, belonging, and shared purpose.

If this speaks to you, we would be truly honored to have you with us.

Proceeds from this gathering will benefit AOY and support ongoing Farmstead Proposal efforts.

"You learn a lot about a community by how much it embraces, elevates and provides access to the arts. AOY Art Center, a nonprofit artistic hub on Mirror Lake Road, provides countless opportunities for residents to embrace their artistic side as a vehicle for growth, creativity, and profound joy. Through adult classes, youth programs, and public events, AOY Art Center uses the arts to not only inspire community members but also connect them to one another."
