  This camp offers young artists guided instruction to develop skills and explore techniques in watercolor painting. We will enjoy trying to achieve the translucent qualities that are unique to this fun and versatile medium. Campers will learn about basic washes, mixing/blending colors, painting loose, creating texture, combining colors, creating values and more. Projects are geared towards encouraging kids to work at their own pace, gain confidence and enjoy the process for artists to progress at their own rate. Join us this summer to paint a variety of subjects from animals to landscapes. All supplies will be provided.

  Origami is magical!! Folding a sheet of paper you can create sea creatures, forest animals and beautiful birds. Campers will also learn to create geometric forms like cubes and pyramids.
  
  In this class, the young artist will make not only Origami figures, but also make their own stories with Origami figures they've made. They will create sequential art and illustration for Origami characters which will let young artists organize their idea and enjoy the journey of an imaginary world. All material fees are included.

Campers will learn about the emotions associated with colors while studying different principles of art and have freedom to be expressive in their artwork.
