This Weekend We are ON! Come prepared for unsettled weather. Anything could happen including a drier than expected event! The latest National Weather Service Mount Holly update has reduced the overall heavy-rain/flooding concern. The system is now expected to move through faster, forecast rainfall amounts have come down somewhat, and the excessive-rainfall risk is now Marginal (Level 1 of 4). NWS says the risk of other thunderstorm hazards is low because instability is very limited. There are currently no Pennsylvania watches or warnings. For the event itself, the newest Yardley forecast still calls for an unsettled day, but it looks more like periods of showers rather than continuous rain. Rain chances are around 40–55% from 10 AM–2 PM, peak near 60% around 3 PM, then ease again around 4 PM. A thunderstorm remains possible, mainly Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. BTW - There's the Members Show in the Center to see while you wait for a shower to blow over! |
