#57 It's ALL in Black & White
Teaching Artist - Elizabeth Taraba
Week 5, 1 - 4 pm
Ages 12 - 16

Join us in a world of Black and white artwork! We will explore media such as charcoal, Ebony Pencil, Scratchboard, Pen and Ink, Ink wash (B&W water painting) and cut paper/ high contrast design. Campers will choose from exceptional images to create artworks with an almost limitless range of values and striking contrast. The use of Black and white in the illustration and graphic design industries has a long history. We will also study some of the greatest B&W photographers and printmakers to learn to use the media with flair and precision. All material fees are included.
