Our exciting sculpture Workshop will include both relief sculptures and sculpture in the round! Come learn to carve into the surface of plaster and wood to create relief images. Paint your carvings to make them really pop! Sculptures in the round will include "miniatures" of various objects or animals modeled out of acrylic clay such as Sculpey. Acrylic clays are brightly colored and mixable and can be used to make smooth as well as textured designs. A large piece we will create will involve a wire armature and Paris craft strips to model a 3-D Animal, Human, or Object! Even if you've taken Sculpture Workshop before, there are always new and exciting ways to work in Three Dimensions! All material fees are included.
