Teaching Artist: Dorothy Hoeschen

Watercolor may seem a daunting medium to tackle. Sometimes it acts as if it has a mind of its own and is notorious for being hard to correct. But you don't need to be afraid to try it!

This workshops takes the basics and breaks them down into small understandable exercises which you will see demonstrated, and then you'll practice them yourself. We will talk about planning, technique, design, color, tools, pigment characteristics, and more. In the end you will put it all together and work on your own watercolor painting. A supply list will be provided and you will be surprised at what can be accomplished with a few pigments, paper, some brushes, and water.
