Teaching Artist: Leigh Ferello

Explore the versatility of sculpting clay (self-hardening) in this hands-on series. Each week, learn a different clay-building technique—including slab, coil, pinch, and slump forms—while creating functional and decorative pieces such as trinket dishes, boxes, ornaments, and more.
Experiment with texture, shape, and surface decoration as you build your skills and create a collection of unique handmade pieces you can paint and glaze in the following week's class. Finished pieces are decorative and are not food-safe, water-safe, or heat-safe. No previous clay experience is required. Images are examples only. Create a unique piece of your own—there are endless possibilities for design and creativity! For ages 18+.
No class January 18.
